With the release of NEXIS 4, Nexis GmbH is expanding its area of application. In addition to the classic modules for role analytics and role modeling, both strategic and operational access governance processes can be covered comprehensively with NEXIS 4. In parallel to the (re-)modeling of entitlements including the corresponding lifecycle processes, easily configurable services and dashboards are now also provided for daily interactions and request processes of the departments.
At the same time, this step is combined with a rebranding. The previous software NEXIS Controle will be marked under NEXIS 4 – Identity Analytics & Governance Platform in the future.
“NEXIS 4 offers a user interface that has been redesigned from the ground up and allows even easier and more effective work,” says Dr. Ludwig Fuchs.
Our modules at a glance
As the basic version of NEXIS 4, the “Analytics Services” module enables modeling activities and analyses regarding companies’ existing IAM data. It provides all the necessary functionalities for setting up a business role model as well as for visual representation of existing authorization structures and role models.
If recertifications or the process-oriented intuitive involvement of business experts are desired, the use of “Governance Services” is recommended. This module offers configurable corporate identity settings (colors, logos, backgrounds, …), allows the setting of demand-oriented data views for business departments and for the delegation of administrative activities. With the help of an integrated workflow module, Governance Services enables the mapping of all company-specific workflows, review activities as well as delegation, escalation and notification rules relevant for IAG.
Service-based approach
With the new “Business Services”, NEXIS 4 now enables the configurative implementation of understandable and atomic services for business departments in addition to classic IT-driven entitlement management. Instead of overburdening users with complex analysis content or a multitude of functions that are difficult to understand, easily understandable end user services can be realized with the help of configurable dashboards with map-based data visualizations. This makes it possible for the first time to successfully integrate business users into an organization’s IAG processes without training.
No-code platform
“It is particularly worth mentioning that with all newly added functionalities, no additional programming efforts are required within NEXIS 4. This enables drastic cost reductions in the implementation and operation of access governance processes,” adds Dr. Ludwig Fuchs.
