In this session, Anne Messer and Christian Höfs from FI-TS together with Dr. Heiko Klarl from Nexis show how the Model Context Protocol (MCP) connects AI assistants with NEXIS identity and authorization data.

Based on a real-world implementation at FI-TS, we demonstrate how natural-language questions are translated into MCP tool calls against NEXIS – providing AI-powered access to employees, roles, accounts, permissions, target systems and governance information.

The result: questions that previously required reports, exports, service requests or manual analysis can become immediate, contextual answers
