The First Nexis Awards: Celebrating the People Behind the NEXIS Platform

NEXIS INVOLVE has always centered on the people who shape identity governance: the customers who push the platform further, the partners who build alongside us, and the individuals who move the whole field forward. This year we made that recognition tangible for the first time.

At NEXIS INVOLVE 2026, we presented the first-ever Nexis Awards. Six of them went to customers, partners and individuals who made the past year a defining one for the NEXIS Platform.

None of these awards is about the biggest logo or the loudest voice. Each one honors a specific contribution: a bold transformation, a project delivered under pressure, a partnership that shaped the product, a voice that helped move the market forward. Here are the winners, in the words we used to celebrate them.

Nexis Customer of the Year 2026: Helvetia

Our Customer of the Year took on a complex and ambitious IAM transformation with exceptional professionalism, trust and commitment. In a highly regulated environment, the team made Nexis a central part of its role management and access governance journey.

What started with a clear scope on Role Management alone soon became much more. The customer embraced the full range of the NEXIS Platform, added further use cases and built impressive expertise together with its partners.

Throughout the partnership, they work with us in a fair, constructive and truly collaborative way. They challenge us, they trust us, and they give valuable input to make the NEXIS Platform even better.

Nexis Project of the Year 2026: Munich Re

Every Nexis project is exciting and important. But some projects are truly special, because they arrive at a defining moment, address a major challenge and make a real difference for the customer.

Our Project of the Year is still at an early stage, yet it has already achieved something remarkable. In a highly regulated environment, two IT organizations are coming together. The negotiations took quite some time, but the path from project start to go-live was impressively short. Within only a few months, the NEXIS Platform is already live as a SaaS solution, ready to document thousands of applications across a very large and complex landscape. This creates the foundation for the next steps in a much broader journey.

The outstanding commitment, openness and collaboration of the entire project team made this first milestone possible. We are very happy to announce the Nexis Project of the Year 2026: Munich Re.

Nexis Customer Lifetime Achievement Award 2026: Holger Hanke

Some relationships leave a lasting mark on a company, a product, and the people behind it.

This award goes to someone who helped spark IAM Governance Documentation, a capability we might never have built in the same way without him, and one that has become one of the most valued parts of the NEXIS Platform.

Over many years, he has been an honest sparring partner, a trusted reference and a true ambassador for Nexis, always there with clear advice, genuine support and an open word when we needed it.

For this trust, generosity and personal commitment, we are deeply grateful and very proud to present the Nexis Customer Lifetime Achievement Award 2026 to Holger Hanke.

Nexis Ambassador of the Year 2026: Timo Copp

Nexis is fortunate to have tremendous support across our partners, customers, and the broader IAM and GRC community. But some individuals go above and beyond. They truly understand the value of the NEXIS Platform and actively help us bring that value, and new ideas, to the market.

This year, one long-time friend of Nexis has been an exceptional ambassador for Identity Visibility and Intelligence. He has supported us enormously in educating the market, explaining why IVIP matters, and helping establish this new category in the IAM community.

Our Partner of the Year is a long-standing Nexis partner with strong commitment across multiple markets, regions, and all levels of the organization. They have invested heavily in training and shown a clear dedication to educating and enabling their teams around the NEXIS Platform. Over the past year, we have grown our joint business considerably and worked side by side on some of our largest and most important opportunities.

Nexis Seller of the Year 2026: Elisa Astfäller

For us as a software vendor, growing our business and expanding our footprint is essential. But great selling is about much more than closing new business. Over the past one and a half years, one person has excelled at exactly that. With tremendous commitment, a deep understanding of our joint opportunities and an exceptional ability to connect the right people, she has become a true ambassador for Nexis within the partner organization.

Six awards, one common thread: none of it happens alone.
